Denali National Park offers one of the best opportunities to view a variety of large mammals such as Grizzly Bears, Moose, Caribou and Dall Sheep. Wolves, Fox, Beaver and a vast array of migratory birds may be seen in the park. Most wildlife viewing is done from tour buses along the restricted Denali Park Road. Private vehicles are not allowed past Mile 14 of this road. The DBA ventures 92 miles deep into Denali National Park. Bring your binoculars because you never know how close or far an animal will be from the road.
Denali Backcountry Adventure operates daily from June 5 to September 10. The bus leaves the park entrance around 6am from various pick-up and drop-off locations. DBA returns to the park entrance at approximately 7:30pm to drop passengers off.
The $159 fee is per person, round trip adventure, which includes the park fee, lunch snacks, and opportunities to pan for gold or hike the proximity of the Denali Backcountry Lodge.
